Bing Cherry Frozen Yogurt

Bing Cherry Frozen Yogurt blends ripe cherries with our tangy Farmhouse Organic Crème Fraîche and creamy Graziers Cream-on-Top Yogurt for a refreshing, naturally sweet treat. It’s a simple homemade dessert with vibrant flavor and a smooth, satisfying texture—perfect on its own or served as a float with lime soda.

Ingredients

Makes 1 quart

3 cups fresh Bing cherries (pitted)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup Sierra Nevada Farmhouse Organic Crème Fraiche
1 ½ cups Graziers Cream on Top Whole Milk Plain Yogurt

Directions

  1. In a medium pan, slowly cook the cherries, sugar, and lemon juice on low heat. Mash the cherry mixture with a potato masher to release the natural juices. Cook until sugars are completely dissolved, and sauce has slightly thickened.
  2. Take off heat and cool for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the crème fraiche and yogurt to the cherry mixture and mix in blender until smooth. Pour into a large bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
  4. Freeze overnight.
  5. Using an ice cream scooper, serve in a chilled cup or bowl. Also serve as a float with lime soda!
