8oz Gina Marie Farmer Cheese
2 tablespoons Sierra Nevada Organic Vat-cultured Unsalted Butter
4 honey crisp apples
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Rinse and dry each apple then cut the tops off of each one. Spoon the cores out until you just about reach the bottom. Place the apples on a baking sheet and fill each with 1/2 tablespoon of butter. Sprinkle with half the amount of cinnamon, saving the rest for after they are baked.
  3. Bake for 35 minutes.
  4. Take the pan out and set on stove or baking pad. Brush the melted butter and cinnamon around the inside of apple and outside, glazing each one.
  5. Fill with Farmer Cheese, brown sugar, and remaining cinnamon. Continue baking for 10 minutes. The cheese mixture will be slightly melted with the apple being perfectly tender. Finish with salt.
