Garlic Pistachio Cheese Ball

This Garlic & Herb Cheese Ball blends creamy Gina Marie Cream Cheese with shredded Organic Garlic & Herb Jack and a touch of black pepper, then gets rolled in toasted pistachios for a crunchy finish. It’s a flavorful, crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for pairing with crackers or fresh bread.

Ingredients

2, 8 oz packages Gina Marie Cream Cheese, room temperature
3 tablespoons heavy cream
6 oz Organic Garlic & Herb Jack, shredded
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup toasted pistachios, roughly chopped
Bread/Crackers for serving

Directions

  1. Place the cream cheese in the bowl of a stand mixer, begin to whip and add the heavy cream. Continue to beat on medium-high until the cream cheese is soft. Turn the mixer speed down slightly and add the shredded cheese and black pepper. Continue to mix until well combined.
  2. Remove the bowl from the stand mixer and scrape the cream cheese into a pile.
  3. Cover and place in the refrigerator for one hour.
  4. After one hour, remove from the refrigerator and shape into a ball. Place the chopped pistachios on a plate and roll the cheese ball in the nuts, pressing down slightly until the ball is covered.
  5. Place in the middle of a plate and serve with crackers or bread as desired.
