Cheesesteak Sliders

Cheesesteak Sliders are a hearty, crowd-pleasing bite filled with seasoned sirloin, sautéed peppers and onions, and melty shredded Sierra Nevada Jack cheese. Brushed with garlic-parsley oil and tucked into warm slider buns, they're perfect for game day, parties, or an easy family dinner.

Ingredients

1 dozen slider buns
1 pound sliced sirloin steak
1 red sliced red bell pepper
1 sliced green bell pepper
1 medium sliced yellow onion
1/2 tablespoon crushed garlic
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup steak seasoning
5 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

  1. Season meat and set aside.
  2. In large sauté pan, add 2 tablespoons olive oil and heat to medium high. Add onions and bell peppers. Cook until tender and slightly charred.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in another large pan on medium high heat and cook steak until browned.
  4. Combine steak and peppers with onions in pan and slightly warm on low to medium heat.
  5. Shred the Jack cheese into the pan. Slightly heat for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
  6. While cheese is melting, mix crushed garlic and parsley in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  7. Slice slider buns in half and place pepper, onion, and cheese mix into each bun. Brush with garlic and parsley. Serve with tots, fries, or chips.
