UPDATED Summer Shipping Policy (as of 6/9/2022)
Sierra Nevada Cheese Company delivers to all 50 U.S. states and ships out on Mondays and Tuesdays via UPS Ground (Western Zone) and UPS 2nd Day Air (everywhere else). Orders placed after noon on Tuesday will be shipped out the following week. Customers can upgrade shipping to UPS 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air at an additional cost. Shipments should deliver on Tuesday-Saturday. If the package cannot be delivered by Saturday given the chosen shipping method, the package will be shipped the following week. Street address needed, we cannot ship to PO Boxes or APO, FPO, and AP addresses.

Orders ship out as they are received (first in, first out). Although we do our very best to ship your order as soon as possible please note that your order will deliver Tuesday-Saturday. The day your order ships is dependent on our shipping queue which may vary week by week.
Our shipping rates are based on weight (with insulation and ice packs) and shipment destination (utilizing UPS real-time shipping). We don’t mark shipping up, it is directly from UPS. The number of items in your order will impact the shipping rate (HI and AK may have additional rates applied). Your exact shipping costs will be calculated during checkout.
Customers will be notified via email with your UPS tracking number when items are starting to be processed in our warehouse. We suggest tracking your shipment.
Our products are packed with the utmost care and attention. All shipments are packed in insulated boxes (https://greencellfoam.com/) with ice packs and packing peanuts. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be home on the day of delivery to guarantee packaging and product quality. If in doubt, we encourage orders to be delivered to a business or commercial address. UPS will not require a signature upon delivery and will leave the package on your doorstep if you are not home to receive it. To enjoy the full freshness and flavor of our products we advise refrigerating the products immediately.
All food sales are final. Sierra Nevada Cheese is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipments being returned to the freight location or being undeliverable as a result of an incorrect address. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide the correct shipping address, phone number, and email address. UPS does not ship to P.O. boxes or APO, FPO, and AP addresses. For all merchandise returns, the buyer is responsible for the shipping expense associated with returning the product(s) to our location. We will issue merchandise refunds upon receipt of returned product(s).
We do not ship outside of the United States due to customs issues; our products are perishable.
