The continued pressure on food companies to outperform their bottom-line, has led to over-processing and unconventional production methods. This results in food that is full of stabilizers, fillers, and preservatives in the name of efficiency, and at the expense of quality and flavor.
Sierra Nevada Cheese Company strives to create the best tasting dairy products by keeping true to our own philosophy: A clean ingredient list, coupled with traditional manufacturing methods. We use only natural, wholesome ingredients and milk and cream from local Northern California producers who guarantee their product is free of synthetic hormones and antibiotics. We are very proud of the attention we place on the quality of our dairy products, as witnessed by our many awards, but also provide a product that passes the highest analytical parameters for food safety. We staff a full service lab on our premises and have an HACCP certified technician as director. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is a systematic preventive approach to keeping food safe.
